First and foremost, I would like to thank you for continuously supporting our endeavors and making them a success.  We have been able to achieve our milestones because of your contribution and the vision of our wise leadership.

I am pleased to share with you the latest developments aimed at truly elevating Dubai’s competitiveness, redefining its value proposition, strengthening its ability to handle changes, and creating opportunities for the future.

If COVID-19 taught us anything, it is the importance of being agile and have the ability to adapt to change.  The recent announcement by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai to restructure Dubai Chamber and give particular attention to International Trade and Digital Economy is a testament towards Dubai’s aspiration and the critical role of the private sector. This is very much aligned with the announcement of Dubai’s five-year foreign trade plan to establish routes to over 400 cities around the world and increase our foreign trade to Dhs 2 Trillion supported by enabling our digital economy.

It is important to highlight that this strategic and timely announcement underlines Dubai Chamber’s role as the main representative of the private sector that supports driving the economic development in the Emirate.  It places immense responsibility on us to expand and diversify our efforts to support businesses, explore more global markets, identify new sectors and opportunities to elevate Dubai’s status as a world-class trade and investment hub.

As Dubai takes new steps to ensure that its economy remains future-ready and reaps the benefits of the new digital revolution, I count on your engagement and involvement in shaping the future of our Emirate.

Dubai Chamber will keep you updated with its plans as it evolves and I welcome any suggestions that can support our readiness for the next chapter.

Regards,
